Salsa aji verde is a bright green sauce from Peru commonly served with that country's well known rotisserie roast chicken dish. Its primary ingredients are green chiles, cilantro, garlic, and aioli. While Peruvian cuisine is highly distinguishable from the dishes we typically cover on this blog, we believe there's a place at the table for aji verde.

It is our pleasure to announce that Gaucho García will be participating in this year’s Sacramento Hispanic Chamber of Commerce Salud! Business Awards Gala. Attendees of the event will be able to bid in the live auction for a 20-person private asado, compliments of yours truly!
The Hispanic Chamber has been a long-time supporter of Gaucho García. The folks there work tirelessly to promote private business in the Sacramento region and effectively facilitate economic and cultural exchange between Hispanic business owners and the local community.
Now in its 44th year, the Chamber’s Salud! event recognizes Hispanic business leaders and the Chamber’s most successful businesses during the preceding year. This year’s keynote speaker is Antonio Villaraigosa, the 41st Mayor of Los Angeles. Following dinner, Sacramento-based music band, Latin Touch, will provide the evening’s entertainment.
